Scott C Edmiston BSc Chartered MCSI, Cert PFS: Branch Principal & Investment Manager;
Scott began his career in financial services over 27 years ago, gaining experience working with both clients and advisers initially through Zurich Financial Group and latterly as a Partner of Positive Solutions. On leaving school he was awarded a golf scholarship to Georgia Southern University, USA. He then went on to study business, graduating from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He holds qualifications with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) and The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Scott spends most of his spare time with his two daughters and keeping active by taking part in a several sports including surfing and snowboarding. He is a member of Gullane golf club in East Lothian and The Dukes, in St Andrews.

Claire McLetchie MA ASIP: Head of Branch Research;
Claire graduated from Glasgow University in 1990 with an honours degree in Political Economy, and started her career with Standard Life Investments (SLI) in Edinburgh. Claire specialised in Asia Pacific markets including Japan and India, managing unit trusts and pension funds of circa £900 million with responsibility for both stock selection and asset allocation. As an Investment Director, Claire opened the SLI office in Singapore before relocating to Hong Kong in 2001. She joined Munich Ergo Asset Management (MEAG) Hong Kong in 2006 as Investment Director and the Association for Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA) as Executive Director in 2008. In her spare time, Claire enjoys relaxing by reading and also practising yoga and meditation.

Phil Nolan BAcc (Hons) Chartered MCSI: Investment Manager;
Born and raised in Dundee, Phil graduated from Dundee University in 2004 with an Honours degree in Accountancy. Following this, he began his career in financial services and has spent over 14 years helping clients in a variety of specialisms including, retirement planning, cash flow analysis, investment research and portfolio analysis. Phil holds qualifications with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). In his free time, he keeps active through playing hockey and has held a variety of committee positions at Monarchs Hockey Club, including President and Treasurer in recent years. In the off-season, he plays golf and is a member of Downfield Golf Club in Dundee. Phil also likes to spend time hillwalking and snowboarding, when the weather permits, in the Scottish highlands.

Alexander Knox DipFP: Assistant Portfolio Manager;
Alexander has experience working with H & R Block Tax Accountants Australia ranging from building client relationships to managing multiple branches. Alexander has returned to Scotland with his young family and is pursuing his interest in investment management. He holds qualifications with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), alongside a diploma of Financial Planning from the Kaplan Institute (Aus) and studied International Relations with Economics at St Andrews University. Alexander works with the team as a Private Client Associate. With a young family, Alexander spends most of his spare time with his wife and children but does find time to socialise with friends.

Suzanne Akers BA(Hons) PG DIP: Admin;
Suzanne graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 1996 with an honours degree in European Business Administration with Languages, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing in 2002. She worked in the Oil & Gas industry for several years before pursuing a career in banking and finance. With a household containing a husband and 3 teenage boys, Suzanne has her hands full however she does like to keep active through cycling and running. She also has a keen interest in books and is part of a regular book club with her friends.
